Instructors: The Department of Mathematics
& Statistics at Northern Arizona University invites
applications for one or more non-tenure track, one-year
instructor positions for the 2012-2013 academic year.
Positions will begin 20 August 2012. Instructors
teach lower-division mathematics, mathematics education,
and / or statistics courses up to 15 credit hours
(usually four courses) per semester during the academic
year. Instructors participate in department and
university service activities and engage in commensurate
scholarship and/or professional development. The
salary for a new instructor is $35,000. This is a
one-year position; however, there is the possibility of
renewal contingent upon department need, individual
performance and the availability of funding. Minimum
